Our Mission

NNPC is an integrated Oil and Gas Company, engaged in adding value to the nation’s hydrocarbon resources for the benefit of all Nigerians and other stakeholders.

Our Profile

The NNPC Retired Staff Association (NNPC RSA) is an Association of Retirees from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR). The Association was founded in 1997.

It was the brain-child of Nze George U. Ibekwe and Dr. Eugene C. Ibe, the former member of board of trustees representing Port Harcourt Branch as its pioneer National Chairman and Natinal General Secretary respectively.

They approached Chief Festus Marinho who agreed to be one of the trustees.

It was formally registered with five trustees, membership of the Association is voluntary. Thus with about 8,500 members, the membership represents about 95% of the entire retirees of NNPC/DPR.

The Association is made up of eight branches namely Abuja, Benin, Kaduna, Kano Lagos, Mosimi, Port Harcourt and Warri. The organs of the Association are as follows:

(1) Annual General Meeting (AGM)

(2) National Executive Council (NEC)

(3) Board Of Trustees (BOT) and (4) National Officers Committee (NOC).

The branches also have Branch Officers Committee and Branch Executive Council (BOC,BEC) respectively and the general meeting.
The association started the first secretariat at 5B, Maduike street, Ikoyi.

It later moved to its secretariat to No. 70, Queens Street, Yaba in the year 2001. On the 30th June, 2008, the secretariat was moved to plot 756, Abubakar Usman Crescent, Off I.T Igbami Street, Jabi Upstairs, Jabbi District Abuja.
